Can we unravel our cells’ social networks to fight disease and transform drug discovery? In a riveting talk on rethinking our approach to disease, Marissa embraces the complexity of biological networks. A departure from the traditional approach to disease, she navigates the depths of protein and gene networks to find new drug targets and medicines. Her computational platform for drug discovery is like a “google-maps” for biological networks and has identified over 200 potential drug targets for diseases like breast cancer, lung cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer's. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
