Back in it's younger life, it started as a Chesterfield bus with a Captain 54 branding. Although a few years later some MAN vehicles were trialled with the Cummins retrofit, which this and 22535 was given, excluding some ALX 300s. 22650 came to Barnsley a few years later with 22648-54 and the other few like 22640 41 etc. 22535 is withdrawn, but this is still going. Struggles up the hills but with a good driver putting the foot down is your only relief.
