Pringles RING STEM Challenge or Pringles Circle is a awesome Physics challenge which defies gravity by carefully stacking Pringles. I teamed up with Science with Bexy, so you need to go over and check out her channel, as she is going to explain the Science behind this challenge.

The Pringles Ring STEM Challenge is an engineering challenge in which you create a ring using only Pringles chips, no tape or glue allowed! It requires problem solving, imagination, creativity, and collaboration. The challenge requires a lot of patience, as well as careful and precise chip placement.
How to build a Pringles RING:
1. The first step is pretty obvious. You need to buy Pringles. Don't buy the genetic brand, as they don't curve and won't work.
2. Begin stacking the Pringles, using their natural curved shape to create a circle. It appears that a sturdy base is the key to a successful ring.
3. Building a solid base is the key.
4. Once you have your base and start going up, you will start placing pringles in between each other forcing friction to hold the chips in place.
The Physics Behind the Challenge:
How does the Pringles Ring work?
As the sides of the ring get taller, gravity pushes down on the chips causing them to slide down. In order for the chips to not slide, there must be enough frictional force on the sides of the chips so that gravity can’t push it down.
