This time I'm restoring a Vintage Seiko Chronograph. The Reference of this watch is 6139-7101 and it earned the nickname 'Helmet' because of its unique case design . The serial-number of this watch dates it to 1978.

I received the watch from an adventurous collector; it was his constant companion on his expeditions. From the Amazon rainforest, through Patagonia and the Sahara, all the way to the summit of Mount Everest, this watch has seen and experienced nearly everything. And the signs of its journey are clearly visible.
