Notes
Ano Vando's mace, Light of Day, has the following enchantments:
Cast When Strikes
Fire Damage 4-20 pts, 1 second, Target
Shield 20 pts, 5 seconds, Self
Resist Magicka 30 pts, 5 seconds, Self
Drain Magicka 100 pts, 1 second, Self
The Drain Magicka enchantment causes him to behave erratically and spam a Dispel spell in hopes of removing the effect, which cannot happen (it's reapplied each time he uses his mace). To me this seems like a clear case of the AI bugging out, so I decided to remove the Dispel spell from Vando prior to his arena fights.
Lord Dregas Volar is another NPC with a counterproductive game plan: After casting his Bound Dagger spell successfully (this may take many tries), he'll refuse to equip his new weapon and uses the Daedric Crescent instead. The Crescent is one of the best weapons in the entire game, so using it is a smart decision, but why then cast the Bound Dagger spell in the first place? I decided to rule this as another case of the AI making silly decisions and removed the Bound Dagger spell from Volar's spellbook.
Prior to the final showdown in Akulakhan's Chamber, Dagoth Ur has a modest amount of Health (300) and does not regenerate it. I used this version of him in this video.
There are seven unique Ash Vampires in the game, but including all of them here seemed redundant. Dagoth Odros is probably the strongest of them (he has the most Health and the best melee combat abilities), so I decided to include him in this video.
Mastrius becomes vastly more powerful once the player brings the Spell Breaker to him. I used the strongest version of him in this video.
Varus Vantinius has both Chrysamere and Lord's Mail equipped, as would be the case in-game if the player completes the Imperial Legion questline. This is the version of Vantinius that the player faces up against in the Vivec Arena.
