Program Description
The Glen at Lake of the Woods Camp for Girls offers the essence of the camps traditional four week program with a distinct two week period for girls ages 6-14. Although the sessions are shorter, campers still enjoy all of the same activities in a warm, fun, and nurturing environment. All Glen campers arrive and depart together for each individual session. The shorter sessions provide a great opportunity for first-time campers to try a summer camp experience, while providing a shorter alternative for seasoned campers as well.
The Glen program promotes individual growth and achievement in a non-competitive environment. Campers remain in small groups while the camps mature staff encourages them to expand their horizons and try new activities.
The Glen customizes a program for each camper based upon her interests. Campers spend their mornings participating in activities as a cabin group. They spend each afternoon doing their individually selected activities. Evening activities change every day and feature favorites like scavenger hunts and casino night.
