Neermahal is the second most popular water palace in India after Jalmahal of Rajasthan which is situated in North-Eastern state of Tripura. The palace was built in an island at the middle of Rudrasagar (Rudijala) Lake, Melaghar by the king Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya during 1930-1938.
