I had a chance to take Poseidon out and really fine tune the trolling motor and the livescope.
I didn't realize how much I would really enjoy fishing out of this boat until this trip. The boot rides like a dream. Even cruising at top speed of 50 miles an hour. It's like you're in a Cadillac. I really like having the full windshield. Without the wind beating you in the face. 50 miles an hour feels like 30. I will say that the Garmin trolling motor definitely lives up to the hype. I've used every trolling motor accept for the new powerpole, and the Garmin is by far my favorite.
Is definitely a good idea to take your boat out solo and get to know it. It just so happens that I ran onto a couple gigantic schools of fish. The livescope has changed river fishing for me dramatically. I fish for food, and it has helped me find the schools way faster. It will pay for itself this season. I hope you guys enjoy this video.
