Gifts in wills are at the heart of our work at the National Trust. They help care for historic buildings and collections, hundreds of miles of coastline and gardens and parks filled with nature. In this video, you’ll meet two people who are leaving a gift in their will to the National Trust.
Dr Bob Park is leaving a gift in his will to the National Trust. He has fond memories of taking his grandchildren to Bateman’s in East Sussex, who enjoyed spotting wildlife. Bob hopes his gift will support the work being done to care for places like Bateman’s so that future generations of the family will enjoy historic houses and countryside for years to come.
Louise Baxter has decided to leave a gift in her will to the National Trust, and has a special connection to Coughton Court in Warwickshire. Louise and her family took a recent visit to Coughton Court, where they hired a tramper for a family member. Together, they were able to explore the grounds and take in the views of the Walled Garden. She hopes that her gift to the National Trust will help the work of future generations to preserve places like Coughton Court.
From restoring world-famous art to protecting wildlife habitats, gifts in wills of all sizes make a big impact on our work. Please consider leaving a legacy to help look after the places you love for future generations.
