The top six gubernatorial candidates will be debate each other Tuesday, less than a month before the primary. Businessman John Cox and Assembly member Travis Allen are two Republican candidates leading in the polls. But, it’s possible neither will advance to the general election. In California, the top two candidates with the most votes will move on to the November general election—regardless of party affiliation.
