Paul and I were lucky to secure front seats on a day on the restored 1938 Tube stock - and enabled a forward view, between Ealing Common and Acton Town. Plus exterior shots at Hillingdon on the way to and from the event.
Good to see the lampshades back (they were missing in the last few years of normal service) - and the contrast between the wood and green interior is as elegant as ever.
And the smell and the sound took me back to daily Northern Line travelling on these units around 40 years ago.
