Throughout my coaching and teaching with the ‘Go-To’ Physio Mentorship I am always asked for advice on one thing…
‘What physical therapy books can I buy that will help me become the go-to therapist?’
Well, after cutting down a list of 100 or so books I have come up with my top 10 physiotherapy books.
Throughout my 13-year career in professional sport and private practice, I have collected thousands of books. Each one has a different theme, a different use, and a different impact on the way I work as a physiotherapist.
Anybody who has seen my work or started their journey with the ‘Go-To’ Physio Mentorship will see the influence of each one on my work and the way I think.
Each book has given me a new perspective, adapting techniques and information to help me understand more about the human body, pain science, physiotherapy, and the way we work as therapists.
Some of these are not strictly ‘physical therapy’ books, some may be curve balls but all have helped me create my own step-by-step system, that helps you understand the true cause of your patient’s problems, build a treatment plan for the person in front of you, and achieve consistent long-lasting results with every single patient.
