Surely one of these will get me a grade A.
This will make study like playing with a toy.
It's got to make me learn faster.
One of these will speed up my revision.
Which will make my notes most attractive.
I learn better with flashy tech.

Frankly any of them would do everything your need as a student!

A decade ago the only choice you needed to make was if you're going to go Mac or PC.
And I feel like the fashion side of tech means that most students want a Mac book Pro, an iPad and an iPhone. But that's 4 grand worth of tech and so much overlapping capability.

Now there's eink, and desktops are cool again, and there's masses of variation in laptops.

Ideal student set up, remarkable, Chromebook desktop.
Remarkable, reading, writing and sketching.
Chromebook for typing and surfing.
Desktop for the serious work, (or gaming).

You have to decide which combo is right for you, and you don't need premium everywhere.
