After generations of isolation the Orcish clans, of Draenor, have finally joined together forming an ultimate fighting force under the leadership of the elder shaman Ner'zhul. However, unbeknownst to the orcs, there were dark forces lurking in the shadows. The demon lord Kil'jaden the Deceiver has been manipulating spiritual visions in order to incite war on his sworn enemies, the elusive Draenei.

Flash forward many years, the orcs have become an unmatched fighting force. The Draenei have all but been eradicated from the planets surface with the exception of a few that fled their lands. The Horde is hungry for a new opponent to conquer and their hunger may yet be satisfied after Ner'zhul's pupil Gul'dan receives a vision from an unknown, yet powerful entity, Medivh . . .
