Laura quickly realized that many of the guidelines within the craft of improvisation can be applied to life in general. It's known that what can make you a better improviser, can also make you a better person. Our goal is to perform the best we can, both on and off the stage. In fact, we’re technically always improvising. No one gives us a script every day when we wake up. We create as we go along, and Laura's TEDx talk explores this and more.

Laura Goehrke has been studying improvisation since 2011, and has trained and performed in cities such as Washington D.C. (DC Improv), Chicago (The Second City), and New York City (The People's Improv Theater). In December of 2014, she moved to Brooklyn, NY, a place she's excited to call her new home. She currently works in production at an entertainment branding agency called loyalkaspar, and continues to pursue performing and writing.
