What can you learn from Tesla's cars recognizing stop signs?

At CVPR 2020, Andrej Karpathy pulled back the curtain on one of Tesla's many challenges in autonomous vehicles: recognizing stop signs. Not only can objects block stop signs from view, but they can be conditional, with exception, and more.

Many of the tips Karpathy walks through are applicable to any computer vision problem.
