Dozens of women protested outside this court in Sudan's capital Tuesday.

That's a violation of the country's strict Islamic laws.
Lubna Hussein is facing 40 lashes on the charge of 'indecent dressing'
Hussein is among 13 women arrested July 3rd ...
Ten were later flogged at a police station and fined about 120 dollars.
At the time of her arrest ... Hussein was working for the United Nations ... which gives her immunity from prosecution.
But she and two others decided to go on trial.
[Notes:SOT Nabil Adeeb, Hussein's Lawyer: "We explained to the court that Lubna would like to have the case tried before the court and would not like to use the immunity as a bar to the trial."]
Hussein says the charge contradicts Sudan's constitution and Islamic law ...
The judge adjourned the trial for a month to seek clarification from the country's foreign ministry.
