Do you need to fix a leggy Echevieria or succulent plant? Or want to know how to propagate Echeveria? I'll show you how to do both, step-by-step.
The great thing about fixing leggy Echeveria plants is the huge potential to propagate the leaves, stem and even offsets to make loads of new plants.
It's surprisingly quick and easy to get your Echeveria or succulents looking their best again.
You don't need to wait for your Echeveria to get leggy to try propagating them. If your succulent is large enough, you can try propagating it by taking an inconspicuous leaf or two from near the base.
I got over fifty potential propagations from just one plant and I've still got a few to fix, so I could end up with a house full of Echeverias!
Why do Echeverias or succulents get leggy? This can happen over time s they grow. Usually this is due to where they are in relation to the light. If they're not getting enough, they'll start to grow towards it causing longer stems. You can try to prevent this by keeping them in positions with bright light.
