I first created this video for myself, just filming no talking. The gardens were so lush and full of blooms I wanted to record it for reference this winter when I am plotting out my garden scheme.
Then I decided to share it so I created the narrative. I knew I would get asked what certain flowers were and instead of putting labels up, I decided it would be simpler to just record a voiceover.
So, please join me for a complete garden tour. This isn't fancy or tidy but it is full of blooming flowers that I love!
I garden in zone 8a but I face the challenge of being surrounded by evergreens (I live in the mountains) that cast a lot of shade. Plus we get very cool nights even in summer. Many lower zones will actually get blooms long before I do.
