Half a red onion
2 sprigs of green onion
2 pickles
4-6 tsp pickle juice
6 sprigs of dill
1 kg potatoes (boiled)
1 pinch of black pepper
1 pinch of salt
Fast Mayonnaise
1 egg
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon of vinegar
150 g sunflower oil
1-2 drops of lemon juice
1.5 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic
1 pinch of salt
- Put cold water in a pot on the largest burner of the stove. Start boiling 1 kg of potatoes cut into large cubes in cold water. Close the lid of the pot so that it can boil quickly. When the water boils, turn the heat down and let it cook. You can check whether the potato is boiled or not with a knife.
- To make quick mayonnaise, put 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of mustard and 1 or 2 drops of lemon juice into 150 grams of sunflower oil and start blending with a hand blender. When it thickens, add 2 cloves of garlic and 3 pinches of salt and blend until it thickens.
- Put the boiled potatoes in a strainer. In a large bowl, add 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 4-6 tablespoons of pickle juice, a pinch of salt and black pepper and mix. Put the potatoes into the sauce while they are still hot and mix without crushing them. The potatoes will absorb the sauce well with the heat.
- When all the potatoes have had their share of the sauce, add the diced half red onion and mix again.
- Finally, add finely chopped 6 sprigs of dill, 2 pickles and 2 sprigs of green onions and mix. You can sprinkle red pepper flakes on it while serving. Enjoy your meal.
