1. What is an autoimmune condition?
Studies show that genetic predisposition accounts for only 30% of all autoimmune diseases, while the remaining 70% are a result of environmental factors, like toxic chemical exposure (to things like mercury, lead, mold, pesticides, phthalates, BPA), infections, stress, diet, an overly sterile environment, vitamin deficiencies, poor gut diversity and leaky gut, aka gut permeability.
For example, "Bisphenol A (BPA) a toxin commonly found in plastics that may be linked to autoimmune diseases, was detected in the urine of more than than 90% of Americans. YIKES. And we wonder why so many people are sick?

2. Fasts that will help
-17 hour fast 5 days a week
-24 hour fast once a week
-1 day a week of healthy feasting

At the root of every autoimmune disease are suppressed Regulatory T cells (Tregs). Tregs are key to maintaining normal immune responses and avoiding overreaction, and autoimmunity.
Science shows that we CAN in fact energize and upregulate Treg cells through Intermittent Fasting. I'll go one step further with my personal favorite, the 5-1-1 Diet Variation.
5-1-1 diet variation
5 days of intermittent fasting (13-17 hours of fasting)
1 day of 24 hour fasting
1 day of no fasting, ie. feast day!
The point is, there are several lifestyle changes you can make to help you get to the bottom of what is causing your autoimmune condition
