Malaysia Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced on Monday night a restricted movement order, starting from Mar 18 until Mar 31. Singapore has urged all Singaporeans to avoid panic buying with reassurances of contingency plans and adequate supplies. Meanwhile, concerns of a global recession are afoot in light of the pandemic.
