In 1999, the official vehicles of Northstar-at-Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe were Toyotas. This produced the slightly odd pairing of hearing the words "Toyota" and "Northstar" in the same commercial. This one shows how a Camry can get you to Tahoe so you can ski or snowboard. This commercial was of course a cross-promotion between Toyota of Northern California and Sierra/Northstar.

With the acquisition of Northstar and Sierra by Vail Resorts, the official vehicles of Northstar were Cadillacs during the 2011 season. But, somewhat ironically Cadillac has been moving away from the Northstar engine and doesn't feature the aged DTS, so there were no Northstar Cadillacs on display at Northstar.
