The Balch Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in a Capital Murder.
On Oct. 18, 2023, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m, an individual believed to be the suspect is seen running away on foot from the victim’s vehicle, located at Autumn Run Apartments near Balch Springs Road and Quail Drive.
The victim was identified as Fernando Martinez Godina, a 20-year-old male. The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous. The suspect robbed the victim for a large amount of disposables (THC Vape Pens) and may sell them or use them for personal use.
Balch Springs PD is asking for the public’s help with any videos, pictures or any information related to the Capital Murder. The department is asking people to contact Detective Valdez at 972-557-6016.
