Drift fishing is a very effective technique for catching catfish and can be used to target blue, channel or flathead catfish and you can drift in lakes or rivers either one. Once you've learned the locations, catfish rigs, baits and techniques to drift fish for catfish you can put some HUGE numbers of catfish in the boat both big and small. Drift fishing for catfish is a very simple way to catch fish once you learn.

There's many different ways you can rig for drift fishing and I often change my rigs based on the water conditions at the time and what the fish are doing but this drift fishing rig for catfish is one of my favorites!
