In this "how to" video I will show you how to lay a shed base using some reclaimed paving slabs.
The first step to the shed base is to make sure the sub base for the slabs is going to be strong enough to support the shed, in this instance I have used MOT type 1 to a depth of 4-6 inches compacted using a wacker plate. The MOT type 1 will ensure the finished shed base will be solid and not move with the changes in the seasons.
The next step is to mark out the shed base area using a string line to get the slabs in a straight line and to give you guidence whilst laying the slabs. Once you are ready to start the shed base create a concrete mix to lay the slabs on, follow my other video for a quick tutorial

Lay the slabs for the shed base one at a time making sure they are level as you go and check the overall level over a few slabs using a long spirit level. If you need to cut any slabs follow my other video for a quick tutorial.
