Former Mineral Resources Minister, Mosebenzi Zwane has told the State Capture Inquiry that the purpose of his Switzerland trip, was to save jobs at Optimum Coal Mine. He has denied claims that he was there to put pressure on Eskom supplier Glencore, to sell its mine to a Gupta-owned company.
