Capturing the European Championships staged on the Lower River Bann in June 2019. Teams representing 17 nations were welcomed by the Bann Corridor communities of Portglenone and Bellaghy for the event.

Significant investment from Waterways Ireland and Mid Ulster District Council and the generosity of local landowners led to the enhancement of the existing coarse fishing facility to support an angling event of this size.
