It's the only LI-2 type aeroplane in the world that is able to fly.
According to the licence of the American Douglas DC-3 it was made in the Soviet Union in 1949. This plane flew in the service of the Hungarian flying company Malév from 1958 to 1964. After ten years of military service the aeroplane was stationed on the ground for about four decades from 1974, but it has been renewed in 2002 and has been flying again from that year. Az amerikai Douglas DC-3 licensze alapján a Szovjetunióban 1949-ben gyártották a repülőgépet, ami 1958 és 1964 között a magyar Malév színeiben repült. 10 éves katonai használat után 1974-től csaknem 40 évig állt a földön, de 2002 óta, felújítva ismét repül.
