Winter in New York City is miserable, but learning to ski has been a bright spot this year! After our group ski trip to Vermont, I wanted to get more practice with skiing so I started to look for ski resorts near New York City.

Originally, we were going to do a girl's ski trip to Hunter Mountain and Windham, but then we heard about a better option for beginner skiers. Belleayre is located in the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York, about 2.5 hours north of nyc.
