This is a short demonstration/test of the HME Trail Tacks. They are small, sharp tacks with a reflective head that can be pushed into trees as trail markers. In essence, they are small reflectors. They can aid one in finding his/her way back to base camp or some other such area after that person has left for a hunting expedition or reconnoiter. They have the potential to be useful in a bugout bag, survival or hunting pack.
I would use this in combination with small -- perhaps 1 inch long -- pieces of plastic flagging tape to let you know that the tacks you are following are yours and not someone else's. I would pin the marker tape to the tree with the tack. Also, one might be best served by using one Tack per cardinal direction on each tree marked.
