Presented by Valentino Villa of BioForceTech, this webinar reviews new technology that can eliminate the trucking and tipping fees associated with disposal of sludge residuals in landfills, while mitigating environmental risks. Using a modular design and very little outside energy, sludge is dried using waste heat — prior to a thermal conversion to a dry solid. The result is a fixed carbonizate incorporating valuable nitrogen and phosphorous and a 90% reduction in volume.
