The Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) method is used to perform a 3D simulation of the hot metal forming process. The material is heated to 800 degrees Celsius and punch compresses the workpiece at 10 m/s forcing it to flow between the punch and die therefore mold to the desirable shape.
