TODAY we look for birds in Valencia! I go to Spain to do other things but really truly we are here for the birds and in our hearts we know this. Many many new birds (new to me) were seen and I feel I've hardly scratched the surface. Much more to come though, so excited to share it with you!
Black redstarts are extremely common around here, as are spotless starlings and white wagtails (all new to me). I see one of my favourite birds right away and closer inspection of a few photos reveals a hidden gem...
