Flights Restaurant has become a Bay Area sensation over the last year and a a half. Originally owned and opened by former San Jose Shark Alex Hult and his wife, Sara, former Miss Nevada, the growing chain started in Campbell, CA but with its success they’ve opened 3 more locations. Because of the success they opened a location in Burlingame about 10 minutes from the San Francisco airport. Burlingame is a small town but the downtown has lots to offer between restaurants, bars, and shopping. Flights sits right on the corner as you enter the main street and is a great welcome to the downtown. Everything is by flights: food, drinks, dessert, and even brunch. They’ve recently revamped their menu so you can get single standing meals and drinks but the majority is by flight. It’s amazing because you get to try various foods and drinks without ordering so much food. The prices are also reasonable so you won’t break the bank. After Burlingame’s success they opened a location in Mountain View, CA that’s done well and they’ve made plans to open more across the country like Vegas and all over Texas. Obviously they’re good so you should check them out and see what the hype is all about.
