Russia invaded Ukraine
on Thursday, where about 20,000 students from
India remain stranded. Out of those, nearly 100 are from Assam.
Nilom Kalita, studying at Sumy State University, hails from Dergaon in Assam's Golaghat district. He spoke to EastMojo and shared his experience regarding the ongoing Russian invasion.
Kalita said, "Right now, the situation is really bad. We have been instructed to carry our passports and visas whenever we step out of our house."
