This is a 250kW AC dyno which was not used for a long time, it also has been reported that water was spraying around in the test cell, therefore it needed a thorough check up
Initially, this footage was supposed to be a quick documentation of the measurements i've taken . It happened that i had to wait for a long time until someone with the right key turned my mains power supply back on. So i used the time to take some random footage to make it a (sort of) complete video.
Sorry for some shaky sequences, also continuity is poor as i took some of the clips later in the day where most of the job was done already..
The run up footage towards the end is most likely boring for most viewers, but for me it was a key aspect to judge if i can give that thing a thumbs-up.or not.
The shaft of that motor runs in pretty expensive spindle bearings, any issues there would be rather costly.
