Masaaki Yuasa is a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2013. Yuasa will be presenting the North American premiere of the Kickstarter-funded project, “Kick-Heart.” Yuasa has been involved in many notable series such as “Crayon Shin-chan”, “The Hakkenden”, “My Neighbors the Yamadas”, and “Samurai Champloo.” Yuasa’s directorial debut, “Mind Game” won Best Film, Best Director, Best Script and Best Animation Film at the 2005 Fantasia Festival in Canada.
