20 Mule Team Canyon is a scenic drive in Death Valley. The colorful drive is a 2.5 mile (4 km) unpaved road winding through multicolored, eroded hills. The drive is one-way and is not recommended for low-clearance vehicles. Scenes from "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" were filmed here (the landscape around Jabba the Hutt's palace). The entire drive takes 15 - 30 minutes.
