On Facebook Messenger, the "Archive" feature allows you to hide specific chat conversations from your main chat list without deleting them. When you archive a conversation, it doesn't delete the messages; instead, it moves them to a separate folder.
This can be helpful for organizing your chat list, decluttering, and prioritizing your current conversations.
Archived conversations are conveniently stored in the "Archived" folder. This folder enables you to easily locate and retrieve older chats without searching through your entire message history.
🔶To archive a Conversation:
First, open the Messenger app and navigate to your chat list. After that, long-press the conversation you want to archive. A menu will appear. Tap the "Archive" option from the menu.
Now, the conversation will be moved to the "Archived" folder, instantly.
🔶To unarchive a Conversation:
Simply tap on Archive from the left side of the messenger long press to a specific archive chat list and select the Unarchive option.
Now, the conversation will be restored to your active chat list.
