Eating meat hurts our planet. Our environment is negatively impacted in multiple ways by the food that we put on our plates. Watch this video and find out if what you’re choosing to put in your mouth is harming our planet.
Most of the meat we consume comes from massive, large-scale factory farms. These farms affect everything from our air, our land, our water, and our oceans!! Animal agriculture is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, air and water pollutants and habitat destruction. Raising animals for meat also requires a HUGE amount of resources including water, land, and crops!
A plant based diet is a much more Earth friendly way to live. Vegan diets use far less resources than a Standard American Diet. So, while cutting plastic, switching to a fuel efficient car, recycling, riding a bike, and using reusable shopping bags and water bottles are ALL great ways to reduce our impact on the planet, switching to a vegan diet is another GREAT way to battle climate change! The best part of it is that a plant based diet can be done in tandem with other Earth friendly changes to help further reduce your environmental impact!
So, if you care about the environment and want to do everything you can to help protect the planet we live on, switch to a plant based diet and reduce your impact today. Don't wait to make the change till it's too late and we've destroyed our planet. Our planet needs people like you to give a hoot and make the necessary changes to keep our planet hospitable both for us and for future generations!
I wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Walter from Vegan Yak for being a special guest star in this week’s video! You're always so fun to work collaborate with. We need to do a collab video together sometime!
