Those closest to late Labor Senator Kimberley Kitching want the allegations she was bullied and ostracised by her party before her death “raised and addressed right away”, says Sky News host Chris Smith.
Mr Smith said, “despite Labor's 'holier than thou' attitude to parliamentary bullying”, leader Anthony Albanese will not entertain holding an inquiry into the behaviour of his alleged “Mean Girls" in the Senate”.
“Only the Labor Party, whose surge to power could be tripped up by the case, have a moral problem in even discussing the behaviour she copped.”
Senator Wong and Senator Gallagher have both said that they do not agree with the assertions. Senator Keneally has not commented on the reports.
