Now as Remembrance Sunday and the eleventh of November approach, we are seeing more and more poppies popping up across Cumbria with the monument in Wigton and a tree at Carlisle castle being just two examples.
2018's poppy appeal was a record breaking year for money raised by the Royal British legion and the 2019 campaign started at the beginning of October.
