The Lucky Supply Tattoo Museum is thrilled to announce the latest addition to our growing collection of tattoo history artifacts: the original "Get What You Get" Tattoo Gumball Machine! Invented by Ricky Bird and officially registered with the USPTO (Patent #7,009,057), this one-of-a-kind machine represents a pivotal moment in modern tattoo culture. Its playful approach—dispensing random tattoo designs from a gumball machine—has captivated artists and clients alike since its debut at Chicago’s Taylor Street Tattoo 13 years ago.
This iconic piece has found a new home at our museum, complete with early promotional photos, authentic documentation, and a rare flash sheet from the machine's launch. Known for its charm and spontaneity, the "Get What You Get" concept has become a beloved tradition for artists and tattoo enthusiasts worldwide. Special thanks to Ricky Bird for make this exciting addition possible. We invite you to visit our museum in Largo, FL, and see this slice of tattoo history for yourself!
