Why is it interesting?
The new MIHR report reconstructs crimes committed by russians against civilians during the occupation of northern Ukraine, demonstrating that the persecution of civilians is not isolated acts of brutality by russian soldiers, but a systematic and deliberate policy directed by the military and political leadership of the russian federation. The study is based on 143 in-depth interviews with victims and witnesses, analyzed through the I-DOC database, which links different episodes of crimes.
