After putting on what seemed like 10miles on my boots, I finally get the reward, chipping trees. Believe it or not, chipping trees with the Woodland Mills WC68 is quite fun. There's just something satisfying about turning some solid into woodchips instantly. Despite the huge amount of work that I"ve got lined up back in the red pine forest, I'm still somewhat motivated today to get down to work. With a hefty pile of decent 6" diameter red pine logs, I put the WC68 through it's paces and finally see whether it's up to the task or not. While I'm chipping material, I feel thankful for the hydraulic infeed rollers on chipper. Without these automatic infeed rollers, I'd be exhausted having to forcefully push logs into the chipper blades. Glad I went with Woodland Mills after this long test. On the downside, the blackflies are just about ready to start bugging me (punny I know). Next thing you know I"ll be coated in deet or covered in a bug jacket. Well, better get back to work, I can hear the bugs swirling and the workpile isn't getting any smaller. Here we go!
