The Cattleya rex collection has begun to push lots of sheaths, and some buds have been spotted inside! 'Mayu' HCC/AOS has three, and wouldn't it be amazing if they all bloom at once? Unfortunately the timing won't be right for my local AOS judging center. Cattleya walkeriana is pushing a growth that is still not clearly vegetative or a possible inflorescence, so we have to keep waiting. The Catasetinae are all growing and rooting at full speed now. Cattleya maxima has two nice sheaths from last autumn's growths, and a new growth now that's getting quite tall. The Phalaenopsaurus has several large, open, white flowers, and Clivia miniata is pushing its first blooms of the year.
