We booked a 4 Day 3 Night hike through the Sierra Nevada to find the lost city.
What a brilliant time, this trek is a MUST if you are travelling to Colombia.
Getting picked up in Santa Marta by our tour guides from Expotur. We drove a couple of hours for lunch and the start of our four day hike to Ciudad Perdida. We weren’t sure whether we could afford to do this with our budget but we are so glad we did.
The hike can be challenging in places, especially the second day but you can go at your own pace. Along the way you’ll see incredible views, meet the indigenous wiwa tribe, make great friends and of course, find the lost city which is incredible.
