At the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, the long-range version of the Porsche pure electric Macan was officially launched. The new car is priced at 598,000 yuan and will be delivered in the fourth quarter. The Porsche Macan EV is the second pure electric model after the Porsche Taycan. It is built on the PPE pure electric platform and adopts 800V high-voltage platform technology.
In terms of appearance, the Porsche pure electric Macan adopts the latest design language of the family. The most obvious change is the front, which adopts a closed design. At the same time, the headlight groups on both sides adopt a split design. The conventional headlights are equipped with four-point sunrise lamps. The headlights are integrated with the fenders, expanding the width of the car's body. The main headlight module is positioned slightly lower than the front end, and matrix beam LED headlights are optional.
The overall silhouette on the side of the body, with frameless doors and distinctive side panels, creates an overall style that is both fashionable and sporty. The raised "shoulder" profile makes the rear of the car very powerful. The Porsche logo is located in the center of the highly recognizable sculptural three-dimensional taillight strip.
In addition, the Porsche pure electric Macan not only has an aesthetic design, but also takes aerodynamic design into account; it is equipped with Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA), including an adaptive rear spoiler and an active cooling air deflector in the front air intake. In addition, the laterally distributed edges and the louvered diffuser at the rear help to achieve aerodynamic efficiency with a drag coefficient of just 0.25 Cd.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4784/1938/1622mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2893mm.
In terms of interior, it adopts Porsche's latest-generation display and operation concept; it is equipped with a three-spoke sports steering wheel, a 12.6-inch curved full LCD display and a 10.9-inch central control display. Optional 10.9-inch passenger entertainment display The display can be used to display information, adjust infotainment system settings or watch streaming video.
In addition, for the first time in the pure electric Macan, the Porsche cockpit experience is equipped with a head-up display system using augmented reality technology, which visually connects virtual elements such as navigation arrows with the real world seamlessly. The focus of the image is in front of the driver, and the screen size is equivalent to an 87-inch screen.
The new pure electric Macan, which has also been significantly improved in terms of intelligence, is equipped with Porsche's latest communication management system (PCM), providing a more intelligent voice assistant. For example, a voice assistant that wakes up with the voice "Hey Porsche" can provide route planning suggestions including charging stops within a second.
In terms of loading space, it has a rear luggage compartment with a capacity of up to 540 liters. There is also a front luggage compartment with a capacity of 84 liters under the front hood. The total volume of the two is 136. liters more than the previous model. When all the rear seats are folded, the volume of the rear luggage compartment can be increased to 1,348 liters.
In terms of power, it adopts a full-motor four-wheel drive system, and both the front and rear axles are equipped with the latest-generation permanent magnet synchronous motors. The Macan long-range model has a comprehensive system output power of 300 kilowatts (408 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 563 Nm. The official acceleration time from 0 to 100 kilometers is 5.7 seconds, and the top speed can reach 220 km/h.
In terms of batteries, all pure electric Macan series are equipped with 100 kWh lithium battery packs. Among them, the Macan long-range model CLTC has a pure electric range of 702 km, while the pure electric Macan 4 WLTP comprehensive working conditions; 613 km electric range; Macan Turbo WLTP comprehensive working conditions Pure electric range is 591 km. The charging power can reach 270 kilowatts at the 800V fast charging station, and official data shows that the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.
