Leaders of the Kerala unit of Congress met party president Mallikarjun Kharge and leader Rahul Gandhi. They discussed the issues of Kerala and the strategy for the upcoming General Elections of 2024. The party leaders discussed the local issues of the state and the national issues. After the meeting, Congress general secretary KC Venugopal said, 'Today, we had a very fruitful and successful discussion on coming parliament elections related to the Kerala state...We have 20 parliament seats in Kerala, last time we won 19 parliamentary seats out of 20... The Kerala leaders assured AICC that this time they'll win 20 out of 20 from Kerala... Entire Kerala people are very much annoyed with the situation happening in the country.'
